Every relationship between a person and their dog deserves to be built on trust, kindness and understanding.
But when problem behaviours appear, or when you need your dog to learn complex, life-changing tasks, it can feel reallyoverwhelming.
That’s where I come in!
I’m an experienced animal trainer and behaviour specialist with over 17 years of hands-on experience working with many species including dogs, cats, horses, parrots, rabbits, and more.
I use reward-based training rooted in science and compassion to help both you and your dog succeed!
With both an MSc and BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training, I combine scientific understanding of animal behaviour with extensive practical experience.
I am also a member of Kids Around Dogs (KAD) which is a national network of professionals that specialise in helping families and children live safely and happily alongside dogs.
This means my approach is not only science-based and kind, but also family-friendly and focused on real-life success for every household.
.

I'm proud to specialise in training and supporting assistance dogs, particularly for neurodivergent and disabled clients.
I help clients train their own assistance dogs to perform real, reliable tasks that make everyday life easier whether that’s grounding during anxiety, fetching medication, or alerting to important sounds.
I also work in partnership with clients who prefer me to carry out the bulk of the training before guiding them through the transition to working together.
Not only do I have lived experience of being neurodivergent and disabled, I have written courses, lectured at universities and have advised organisations including the NHS, major companies, and airlines on assistance dog access, behaviour, and training standards.
I share my life with two Flatcoated Retriever and an English Springer Spaniel, who are all trained with the same kind, positive methods I use with every client.
They’ve earned first places at Crufts, achieved Good Citizen Dog Scheme awards, and competed successfully in gundog working tests.
I also have assistance dogs and have lived expereince of being an assistance dog handler
When you work with me, you get more than training sessions. You also get expert guidance, patience, and experienced help
